Getting started: three steps to healthy tracking

What Wexlyn does, how data flows, and the three setup steps every account goes through.

Wexlyn answers one question: which ads actually make money? It follows each visitor from the first ad click through every page, opt-in, booked call and purchase, then credits the revenue back to the ad, ad set, campaign, keyword or organic source that caused it.

How the data flows

  1. The Wexlyn script on your site records every visit under a first-party tracking domain you own (for example t.yourdomain.com).
  2. Your ad links carry URL parameters so Wexlyn knows exactly which ad sent the click.
  3. Integrations (Stripe, GoHighLevel, Calendly, Whop, iClosed and more) send leads, calls and sales. Wexlyn matches them to the visitor by email, phone and click id.
  4. Attribution models decide how much credit each touch gets. Reports and dashboards show the result.

The three setup steps

StepWhat you doWhere
1. Tracking domain and scriptAdd a CNAME record, verify it, paste one script tag into your siteTracking → Universal Script
2. Integrations and URL parametersConnect ad platforms and sales tools, add the per-platform parameters to your adsSettings → Integrations, Tracking → Sources
3. Organic rules and attribution settingsTell Wexlyn how to name organic traffic and which attribution window to useTracking → URL Rules, Settings → Tracking

Each step has its own guide in this hub. Work through them in order; the Tracking percentage pill in the top bar climbs as more of your sales get matched to a source.

Before you start

  • You need DNS access for the domain your site runs on.
  • You need admin access to the ad accounts and sales tools you want to connect.
  • Agencies: create one client account per brand (Settings → Accounts). Every step below is per client account.
